Preheat oven to 200 C and brush a baking sheet with butter.

Roll the dough onto a floured flat surface, then slice it into 12 equal sized rectangles.

Use a fork to make small holes in each piece of dough, then put the tray in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down.

To prepare cream patisserie, pour liquid milk into a medium saucepan, then add eggs, sugar, butter, flour, vanilla extract and grated lemon peel.

Mix the ingredients well, then put the saucepan over a low heat, stirring constantly, so that it does not clump.
