rice
1 1/2 cups (washed and drained)

Recipe
Step 1
Heat the oil in a nonstick saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the onion, carrot, broccoli, red pepper, garlic and stir for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the chicken broth, salt, pepper and rice and leave to boil.
Step 4
After boiling, reduce the heat, cover the pot, and leave it on low heat for 25 minutes or until the rice is tender.
